So there is not really much to say today. For the first time in a long time I had a normal day with a few positive things floating my way. First, my schedule is changing again. When I caught wind of this, I became extremely worried that I was going to get the shaft. Au Contraire! Starting next week, and for many moons to come, my schedule is as follows:
(all are P.M.)
Monday- 5:20 - 9:40
Tuesday- 4:30 - 9:20
Wednesday- 5:20 - 9:40
Thursday- 4:30 - 9:20
Friday- 3:25 - 9:20 (only 3 classes, with an hour of free time between each)
Not bad huh!?! So everyday during the week I will have plenty of time to sleep in or do whatever I need to.
Second, I have not been sleeping well for quite some time. Last night I slept for 10 hours nearly uninterrupted. I felt great today and didn't have many problems in my classes.
My one Korean, social commentary to add to this post is that I am learning that Korean men have no sense of personal space. I will be changing in the locker room at the gym, and the men will just bump into you, clothed or not. They will stare you down. They have no qualms about eyeballing you at the wrong times. It is really quite bothersome. This is not just in the locker room. Besides the nude part, this occurs everywhere I have been. It is quite frustrating at times, especially when I am in my birthday suit.
KICKS ASS: My new schedule, and the sleeping pills my mom sent me.
SUCKS ASS: I heard that a big downside to Korea is that they don't have drying machines. This is true. I really miss them. Many people here have a musty smell, and I know the reason why.
I want to end this post with a big "KNOCK ON WOOD" for my new luck with scheduling!
