I am going to tell you, in a nutshell, about my frustrations. But I will also tell you how there could be a light at the end of the tunnel. However, as I have learned so well here, never count your chickens before they hatch.
So I lost my wallet last week and cancelled my debit card. My new card got here last Friday but would not be delivered until I had already left for work. Crap! The lady at FedEx told me that I could get the card from them if I came to their offices on Satuday. I show up at what I assume to be the correct address. It is not, and I spend 18,000 Won, on a cab ride, out of the measly sum I had remaining. On top of that, I spent three hours walking around, determined to find this place because of my dire situation. No Luck. By sunday I had only 4,000 Won left. This is only enought to get me to immigration Tuesday, so I could pick up my I.D. card and get paid. I really hoped that on Monday morning I could call FedEx and set up a delivery time. I did, and they told me it would be delivered at 11 a.m. I waited and waited, and it never showed up. I called and called, and noboday answered at FedEx. So here I am with no money and starting to get pretty hungry and really frustrated. On top of this, for some unknown reason, I cannot sleep regularly still. I am truly starting to feel the grind, and I am ready to take some names. God grant me patience and compassion when talking to the unsuspecting FedEx employee tomorrow.
