At least since I have gotten here, it seems as though it never ends. What is the "it"? "It" is the constantly changing work environment I find myself in. My schedule changed today for the fourth time. I make plans during the week and then I have to change them because my work schedul flips. My Friday's were nice because I had most of the day off and could get a lot done (i.e. cleaning, errands, and exercise). Now that is gone. Half of my Tuesday/Thursday classes have been moved to Friday. When it is all said and done it really doesn't matter. But, last Friday I got a physical to comply with the Alien Registration process. Friday, at a time when I have no class, I was to receive my physical results and go promptly to immigration to get my Alien I.D. Card. Now I do have class and cannot do that. Maybe it doesn't yet sound like that big of a deal to put off getting my card for another week. But an Alien I.D. Card is required to get things like health insurance, cell phones, and necessary to cash in on other public services. So now I am uninsured for evern longer, as if a month wasn't long enough. And so as yet another change falls in my lap, I say, "It Never Ends!"
Today I walked into what is comprable to a teacher's lounge. I take my lunch out to eat it, and for the first time I notice something very singular on the refrigerator. It was a whole dead, cleaned, and dried fish that was covered in dust and looked as though it had been there quite some time. Speechless.
KICKS ASS: I found a movie theatre that shows American films in English with Korean subtitles!
SUCKS ASS: Hangman, usually a reliably easy game, is utterly frustrating over here. The kids learned to play it before I got here and love to play it. But the can't spell; I guess rightfully so.

Bubba, I'm so sorry about the delay with the immigration card. The changes must be frustrating. Hang in there! MOM
